Here we are on day 2. As you can tell by recent releases, crafting and stamping has exploded in popularity! It’s incredible how quickly stamp sets are selling out! Do not fret if you didn’t get Melanie’s Bee set, it will be replenished soon! Today we are featuring Arjita’s Timeless Poppies and Lisa’s Bloomin’ Wild. Bloomin’ Wild also has a coordinating die set! This first card was created with an A2 tranquil teal base and then the flower image was stamped in obsidian ink. I used copic markers to color the image. The sentiment is stamped with embossing ink and sprinkled with embossing powder on a strip of black card stock.
I wish I could take credit for creating a floral butterfly, but Lisa actually gave us this cool tip sheet and shared this idea. I fussy cut the flowers which I stamped on white card stock. I manipulated the stem/antenna pretty easily! The image was then colored with copic markers. On the black background, I stamped the sentiment in embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I used the Harvest Flourish stencil which is available in the Festive Fall Card Kit! I rubbed the embossing ink with a blender brush to give it a slight pattern. I added the main image and black layer on a sweet mango A2 card.
